Shop Steward Seminar 2013

On March 10, Teamsters Local 848 hosted a very successful shop steward seminar. Over 100 of our dedicated shop stewards attended this event presented by Sally Payne, Associate Director and Western Regional Coordinator for the IBT Department of Training and Development and Mark Shumar, Director of Field and Political Action Coordinator for the
IBT. It was a great time filled with real stories, shared experiences, and practical training that our stewards will find valuable in their everyday battle for justice for the members they represent. The Local staff would like to thank Sally and Mark for presenting this seminar and send out a sincere thank you to the stewards that took the time from their busy lives to sharpen their skills as stewards through their attendance.
